Homemade from scratch has always been a way of life. Growing up on a farm in Idaho, I learned at an early age the true meaning of homegrown & homemade. From these farm girl roots, I have a grown to love baking and today, my kids regularly ask for my chocolate caramel cookies, Sunday dinner rolls and early morning waffles with homemade strawberry jam.
Two years ago, out of curiosity and a desire to try new things, I whipped up a batch of buttercream frosting, picked up a piping bag and decorated my first set of cupcakes. Let's just say it was "love at first piping" and I knew there was no turning back! Not knowing anything about cake decorating, I poured my heart and soul into teaching myself everything I could about buttercreams, cake ingredients, decorating tips, coloring buttercream and everything in between. After much trial and error, I perfected my frosting with the silkiest texture, piping consistency and irresistible flavor!
I've learned so much along the way and more than anything, I've gained so many wonderful friends, customers and social media followers that fill my heart daily! I would have never guessed I would be where I am in such a short time.
