HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO PLACE MY ORDER?The earlier the better! It is recommended that orders are placed at least 2-3 weeks in advance. I will do my best to accommodate all orders, but as slots fill up I won't be able to create your yummy treat so get your order in early! There will be times when I will be offering special packaged treats for holidays and other special times of the year. These Sugar and Frost order specials will have their own separate order due date. Please carefully read all ordering details at the time to ensure you don't miss out!
-
HOW DO I PLACE MY ORDER?To place an order, please send an email to sugarandfrostinfo@gmail.com or send an inquiry here. Once I have received your initial order request, I will follow it up with an email and/or phone call to discuss specifics. If you have pictures of a specific theme, have ideas or special requests, please include them in the email. If you are unsure what you would like, please feel free to browse my website, Facebook or Instagram pages for ideas. Please keep in mind that I will do my best to accomodate your requests. If I find that I can't create what you have in mind we will either come up with something comparable or I will decline to create your sweet treat. I want this to be a wonderful experience for both of us so I won't be taking orders if I honestly don't feel confident in creating it for you.

WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE AND HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?Payment is due upon delivery. Cash, check and payment thru Venmo is accepted.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?Cancellations must be made within 72 hours prior to the order due date. There is a lot that goes into making your custom treats! Shopping for the supplies, ingredients and depending on the toppers used, I begin the process at least one week prior to when your order is due. I also have multiple orders happening at once so it is important that I prioritize my time accordingly. Please make sure that if you need to cancel that you do it as soon as possible.
-
WHAT DAYS OF THE WEEK CAN I RECEIVE MY ORDER?Sugar and Frost is available for orders Monday thru Saturday. All desserts and treats for events or celebrations on Sunday will need to be picked up or delivered on Saturday. I spend Sundays worshipping at church and spending the day with my sweet family, so I do hope you'll understand this sacred day is important to us! Thank you!

DO YOU DELIVER AND IS THERE A FEE?When we collaborate your order we will discuss specifics, including the date and time for pick-up or delivery. If the order needs delived there will be an additional delivery fee. This is based on your location and will be determined during your order consultation.

DO YOU CREATE LARGE MULTI-TIER CAKES OR WEDDING CAKES?I am not currently creating large special occassion or wedding cakes. I am specializing in custom made cupcakes to match your wedding or special celebration colors as well as other creative smaller sized cakes. Please see the CUPCAKES and CAKES dropdown menus to explore cupcake and cake options!
-
DO YOU OFFER GLUTEN-FREE, DAIRY-FREE OR SUGAR-FREE OPTIONS?"At this time I'm not offering any of the above options. However, if demand for these increase, I will consider adding these options to Sugar and Frost! If you are someone that would benefit from these specialty items and are interested in expressing this interest, please send me a message here!

HOW DO I STORE AND SERVE CUPCAKES/CAKES?Buttercream cupcakes, cakes, cakesicles, cake cones and other treats with buttercream should be removed from the fridge and brought to room temperature prior to serving. This usually takes 2-3 hours. Please keep the items out of direct sunlight or warm sunny places for extened periods of time. Buttercream will melt and if kept in direct sunlight for an extended period of time the colors will begin to fade. Leftover cupcakes, cakes, cakesicles, cake cones and other buttercream treats will keep well for about 1 week in the fridge when properly stored; when refrigerating, store in closed containers to prevent the treats from drying out and the frosting becoming stale. Cupcakes/cake can also be stored at room temperature in a closed container for up to 2 days.
